My Third Quarter Of 2026

The last one was a little late but still shocked with myself that I’ve been pretty much keeping up with these posts. This is everything I got up to in the third quarter of 2026, in July, August and September!

July

I started off the month by playing my fitness boxing game. I was surprised when it said my fitness age was still 18, I’m really unfit. I wanted to try and play it everyday but trust me, spoiler alert- that did not happen. I did get pretty under lol shortly after this so… let’s just blame it on that.

I went for a walk in Birkenhead park, where I go quite a lot especially when I need time to think. There’s lots of ponds and ducks there. And geese, but I really don’t like geese- they really scare me. There’s also some pretty cool bridges too. The squirrels at the park come right up to you, it’s super cute.

I didn’t realise how big my backpack was until I took these random pictures of myself, haha. I also made a fool of myself on that seat thing in the first picture. They’re outside exercise equipment and I pulled all the muscles in my arms attempting to do… what ever it was I was meant to do on it.

I made some bubble tea that were contrasting colours from each other. I made them to cool down but it wasn’t until I made them that I realised I didn’t have any ice. So I had to drink them warm, I was not a fan at all.

The second week of July I went to the beach. It wasn’t really sunny but it was warm, despite all the clouds. I didn’t stay for too long, just enough time to eat my ice cream. And then I got chips on the way back to the train station, which weee not my favourite kind of chips but nevertheless they were good!

I finally got a badge to say I’m a top listener of AJR, and my first thought was a bit of an eye roll as I said “well it’s about time”. Though to be honest, I didn’t know AJR had that many listeners! Such a good band though, I don’t know how anyone could dislike them.

The first two photos were from one of my many trips to the park. I go quite a lot in the summer to sunbathe and to work on my projects. I then laid under a tree and thought it was pretty so I took a photo of it, haha! The third and fourth photographs are of a pretty sunset that I saw from the hallway of my apartment block.

Above are some screen shots from some things on my phone. The first was when I hit a 125 day streak on Duolingo. the second photo was a random email I got at 9am on the second week of July, saying that it was my four year anniversary of my website! I remember making it, a month or two after I had moved out, when the world seemed so big and I had so many plans.

That next week I went to the cinema to watch both Minions Vs Monsters as well as Moana. The first photo was from one of those cinema trips… I cannot remember which one off the top of my head. Then in that same week I made a fruit salad. I usually take these on walks with me or to the park, and there very therapeutic to make as well.

That next week I did little bits of everything. I started to feel a little unwell (both mentally and physically) so I didn’t get out as much as I like to. I went to one of my favourite McDonalds, as the upstairs is always super quiet! Then for the next couple of days I rested. the second and third photo above were from when I caught a big fish on Animal Crossing and then when I needed to exercise my brain I played my Trivial Persuit game.

That next week, even still feeling dreadful, I decided to walk one of my favourite walks again. I did attempt it last year but gave up half way and my mother came to pick me up. This wasn’t the full walk, nut it was two thirds of the full path. And importantly, this time… I did it! It was a walk I used to do so much when I was younger and has a big place in my heart and the fact I walked all the way from my home time and actually walked, for the first time ever, to the official end ion the path, made me so proud!

A lot of the photos are the same sort of photos I have always taken. I waited for the heatwave to be over before I did the walk. It was about 12 miles, and I walked over 23,500 steps! That was more steps than I think I have ever walked in my life. The last photo was the finish/start of the pathway, I wish you could bottle up that feeling I felt when I saw the finish line, best feeling ever.

The first photo above was a lemonade I got about half way on my walk, at a little visitors centre where there were the worlds grottiest toilets, but they are literally the only toilets on the entire trail. Then once I got home I got McDonalds and I ate it in my bed while watching The Simpsons- probably putting on every calorie I burnt on my long walk.

I love to play Pikmin Bloom. I love to plant the flowers and do all the challenges. I planted many flowers on my walk as you can see on the map on my first picture, and the the second future was a little thing that was saved to my phone saying that I walked over ten thousand steps… like yes I did that and doubled and more! Such a good game though, I have almost 600 pikmin!

The first picture above was something that made me giggle. When you get to four hearts with any of your pikmins, they have expedition to go to the place they were originally plucked to get like a gift of an outfit to wear, and usually they’re local and take 1-10 minutes… But this pikmin was plucked in Australia, so I guess I’ll next see my little pikmin in… over three months! Then I won ten chess matches on Duolingo. I didn’t even know the first thing about chess until I started learning on Duolingo. And then I made a fried rice and chicken dish for dinner on the last week on July.

During the last week of July I went out to lunch with my mum as I needed to get a new tripod as I accidentally snapped the handle off mine. We went to KFC where I had my usual popcorn chicken but then I saw that they did bubble tea! It wasn’t as nice as the ones from actual bubble tea places but it was still very refreshing. Then I got the bus home with my new tripod, I even got to sit on my favourite seat on the bus!

On the last day of July I had to pick up new meds from my psychiatrist. The first antipsychotic, Quetiapine, wasn’t working for me so now my psychiatrist is slowly lowering the dose of those, while increasing the dose of the new one, Aripiprazole. Right now I am on 150mg of Quetiapine and 5mg of Aripiprazole. Not a fan at all. To cheer myself up I went to Popeyes, where I got chicken and my favourite- vanilla coke! every time I drink it my brain goes right back to much happier times. I then went to the bubble tea ship where I realised they have a touch screen to order now, which made me happy, so I got a raspberry bubble tea for the bus ride home.

August

On the first weekend of August, I went to my parents for dinner where I had chilli infused salmon, peas and potatoes. I then spent the evening alone at the park where it was totally empty, which felt weird considering it was still light out during the summer holidays. Then the start of the second week of august- I had a light breakfast as my medication was making me feel very nauseous. I then wrote what I was doing for that month in my planner. Then I cleaned my laptop screen with a new cleaner and it came out as good as new!

Then I went to Decathlon, where I got some new clothes… That does not yet fit me but I am on a mission to lose weight. And I also got some moisture wicking socks from the same store. The second photo is my Vinted box, of all the stuff I am selling this month. I swap and change my style a lot, so I sell and buy a lot on vinted so that way I don’t have to touch my bank and I can do everything with my Vinted balance. The third photo was me in the cinema with my tango ice blast. The last photo in this section was when I was doing some coursework in the first week of august.

Above is my two apps that I have streaks on. The first is my Duolingo where I finally got to a 150 day streak. The second screenshot is a bible app called Manna where I got to a two week streak. I have had the app for longer but it takes longer than Duolingo so sometimes I don’t have time to do it and I lose my streak. You also can’t save your streak on it in the same way that you can on Duolingo.

The first photo above is all the things on Vinted that I had sold. I was packaging things up with any packaging that I could find around my house. I ended up making about £180 that week, which I used to buy an old travel backpack back which I sold a few years ago to buy the newer one- which I hated. The second photo was when I got a Happy Meal and got a croc, now I was making it my lifestyle mission to collect them all. I have even attached one onto my backpack!

During the second week of August I walked the other way on the Wirral Way, which is a lot more… forestry than the other way, which I prefer. There was lots of random fields that you could look at or even walk through, which I didn’t do that day as I really wasn’t feeling well. I thought I could simply walk off the dizziness and nausea but the further I walked, the worse it got. I still managed to walk most of the way though!

Then I came across the cutest fairy garden, where they had a wooden sign, and a little caravan looking thing. As well as a wooden man thing, and s flowerpot house, and even a silver fairy. I took a lot of photos to show someone special. I didn’t stay for very long in the fairygardin though, as it was quite close to the start and I didn’t want to dawdle as I didn’t know how long it would take to walk the rest of the way.

Here was some more photos, again, lost of them are fields but then I had to cross a fun bridge so I took a photo of the bridge before I crossed it. I also took a photo of a pretty flower. I am not an expect in flowers so I am not sure what sort of flower it is but I again, wanted to show someone special so I took a photo of it anyway.

These were the last six photographs I took while on my very short hike. The first photo was a sign that spoke all about the bridge that was in the above photos. The second, third and fourth photo were photographs taken of a field from the top of the bridge. The last two photos were just two more random photos of fields. Shortly after this I had a bad turn so my mum came ad picked me up, which I am very grateful for indeed!

During the third week of August, I played some Animal Crossing on my Nintendo Switch where I finally completed the Fossil collection at the museum! Then I got a new backpack as I hated the one I had as it was too stiff and I couldn’t put my badges or patches on it. I love my new one a lot though. I will be putting my old one on Vinted. The last photo in this section was of a shelf in the toilets in Liverpool KFC! Like, it was a literal shelf where you can put your phone and stuff! That was the first time I saw that haha.

In the middle of august, I was posting more parcels that I had sold on vinted, and I randomly got a jigsaw as I wanted to do something that was calming that didn’t involve a screen. I liked the Mount Fuji one, it reminds me of that painting in animal crossing. Yes, I know it is also a real painting, haha. Spoiler: It was harder than I thought it was going to be so I gave up pretty quickly. I have found a funner looking jigsaw on amazon so I will get that one, one day.

I went for a walk out in the rain, late one night. It was so empty that I had to take a photo of the street which, in the day time, is so busy. The second photo was a question on Tipping Point. One in which the guy got wrong, yet I was SCREAMING at the television as I have a picture of me, sat on the banks of the Swan river, when I was visiting my girlfriend in PERTH. The this picture was a screenshot from a game, where I got a fortune that said I would never get another blister on my foot, and al I could think of was YES PLEASE!

The first photo was a screenshot from Duolingo when I had won 25 chess matches. the second photo was when I went for lunch with my mum and the third photo was when I had a McDonalds happy meal… or two… on the same day haha. I am still trying to collect all of the crocs. The last photo in this section was a picture I took on one of my late night walks of two different buildings even though they were built at the same time, right night to each other, I thought it made for a cool photo nonetheless.

The first photo is me once again playing fitness boxing where I got all perfects and my fitness age was eighteen! The second photo is when I was on this spinning thing. The third photo was a screenshot of my 30 day streak on the Manna app. The fourth photo was a pond I saw on one of my walks that was totally covered in algae. I liked the little dock area. I couldn’t sit at it as there was a gate that was locked but I thought it was a fun photo.

I love this collection of photos, I feel like they’ve all been whipped out of a Taylor Swift album or something, very moody. I took these all on the same night, as the sun was setting, around late August. You can feel the autumn approaching and there is something about late summer evening that is a real vibe for me, I don’t know what it is. I did try to take some photos of the moon too, but I don’t think they turned out too good.

During one of the last weeks of August I played some animal crossing, I had some fish and bugs that I needed to catch. That blue weevil beetle had alluded me for so long, that I screamed when I caught it… Wow my life is sad, haha. Then I went to the cinema. I got takeout cookie dough that night which was yummy. I bought the new coloured joy cons for my switch which I love a lot more than the other ones. Then I was doing my usual bus errands.

I went for a walk during the sunset at my favourite park where I took photos of the sunset. I also sat non the swings for a while and while I was there I saw this tree which looking at it again now, is making me laugh all over again. The tree has grown in such a way where it’s started to lean over the fence and it looks like it has a booty. I can’t stop laughing!

Here are some more photos from the same walk. The first photo was from the pretty red bridge, and then I saw a squirrel on it som I obviously had to take a photo of them too! Then there was another bridge which I also took a picture of. Then on the way out of the park there was no people around and it was super peaceful so I took A photo of the setting sun and the empty road.

In this section of photos I was getting 100% in my Spanish from Duolingo. then I got the train to Chester as I had not been there in so long! I took a photo while I was waiting for my train then another photo of this space shuttle model thing. the last photo i took while I was in Chester was of the Chester canal.

I have recently downloaded the app Finch to help me with my todo lists each day, and I have completed 10 adventures with my bird! Then I was on a train as I went on an afternoon trip to Manchester. After that my new smaller pillows arrived for my bed as my other ones were just a little too big and heavy and were kind of going flat. The last photo was my 175 day streak on Duolingo!

September

During the first week of September I watched some of my favourite YouTuber as I did some writing to my novel. After that I went out for bubble tea. That next day me and my mum went into the city for a shopping trip where I got bubble tea… again! I went to decathlon to buy some new clothes. After that I went home and typed up some of my novel, where I finally reached 28,000 words!

During the second week of September I got a Forky which you could make yourself, I love Forky, he thinks he’s trash, like me. Then I put up some new Noah Kahan prints that I got for my wall off Etsy, then I reached 30,000 words in my novel! I am SO proud of that. My goal for the end of the year is 50,000, so we’ll see how that goes. Then got some new reusable wipes to add to my other ones. I was given random prints and I use these especially when I have a cold, which I feel I will get one soon haha.

A few days after that I was waiting for my train to go to southport, which is a fu place I like to go where there is lots of ice cream and arcades, which are two things I love! the last few photos were ones I took while in southport- such as the bridge, McDonalds and Glenn the gull by a fountain.

Did I cover my whole bedroom door in sprinkles? Yes. I don’t know why. It looks a bit like fairy bread, which reminds me of someone I miss a lot. Or a donut, which makes me hungry every time I look at it. I was laying in bed one night and I was thinking “You know what that door needs? to be smothered in stickers like every other part of my bedroom!” I think the colours match well with the rest of my room.

In this section of photos I reached a 50 day streak on Manna. Then I went to Liverpool for the day and to watch Leviticus at the cinema so I obviously had to get a bubble tea! Then my bird on Finch completed 25 adventures, and Sushi (yes, that is the name of my bird) is now a child. Then in the middle of September I got McDonalds, yes I was watching The Chase haha, I’ve been really into it lately, I love quizzes.

Towards the end of September, I finished the event on Finch, and then I had some hot chocolate while I was working on a blog post. Then I wasn’t feeling well so I treated myself and baked some brownies. towards the end of the penultimate week of September I went for dinner at my parents. Then I went to KFC for bubble tea and got lost on the bus (I don’t even know how I managed that). The last photo is what Euko looks like now, my mums friend sent us that photo, she seems so happy, and she’s just as pretty as her grandmother, Indie Boon.

I didn’t get up to much during the last week of September. I was decluttering my pens as I had far too many, and I was putting the ones I didn’t want anymore on Vinted. Then I reached a 200 day streak on Duolingo! The thing picture is of the hallway in my apartment building at 9am one morning- I was on the way to my portents house, they were on a trip and I had to wait in for some packages. Those said packaged was a new backpack and some wintery pyjamas, which are pictured in phots four and five. The last photo was when I finally got to 40,000 words in my book!

On one of the last few days of September I went to Southport, I took a fun train picture on the way there- then once I was at the arcade I won the 500 ticket jackpot! After that I went for lunch where I had chips and a massive fish. I am the kind of weird person who just eats a lemon like it’s an orange, haha.

I took a photo out of the window of the cafe, as the pier always brings back memories or much happier times, weirdly reminds me of someone I miss a lot- I don’t know why, as they have never been to Southport pier. I then got an ice cream which was very big. Lastly I saw in the sun next to a monument and admired the pickles in a jar I won with my 500 ticket jackpot.

On the second to last day of September I went for a haircut, and an eye test. I chose the new Meta 3 AI glasses, but they won’t be ready until sometime in October. Afterwards I went for lunch with my mum to Burger King. On the last day of September, I went to Nando’s, where I got chicken wraps and for pudding I had ice cream and a brownie. On the way home I got bubble tea. That night I finished my first full month doing my fitness boxing game!

Thank you for reading my third quarter of the year! See you all in the next blog post.
